Most comfortable shoe I've owned
I was tempted to give this shoe five stars right out of the box - it was so comfortable. But I wanted some time with the product before reviewing. So I've worn these shoes almost full time for a couple of months now and I can say without a doubt that these are the most comfortable shoes I've worn. They fit more like socks than shoes (EXACTLY what I was looking for). I do wear socks with these (for odor and moisture reasons, not comfort). If you are a sockless guy, go for it. The lining is smooth, soft and full. If sockless, just be sure to size down 1/2 size. For sock wearing, order your size straight up. These size true (I now own two pair and they both size dead-on). If you are between sizes in different brands, order up to the next size (again, only if you plan to wear socks).
These shoes have ruined me. I cannot stand wearing my cross trainers any more. The tongue on a typical athletic shoe absolutely bothers me now. Once you wear the stretch style, you'll...

A fit replacement for the Chameleon II
I purchased these as a replacement for my much worn, and loved Merrell Chameleon IIs. My Chameleons and I went hundreds of miles together through seven different countries. I had read many reviews that the new Chameleon's didn't have the same craftsmanship so I chose these when mine finally gave out.
These are a fit replacement for most everyday wear purposes. They are well built and rugged looking. I will say that these are more of a boot style, with a raised hill than the Chameleon's lower profile sneaker feel. That's not necessarily a bad thing but I will probably look for something different for wear with shorts, or at the gym.
Merrell Geomorph
Excellent product.!!! When the shoes arrived I wasn't sure I would like the no shoelace stretch slip-on style but after using a couple of days I am more than satisfied with them. I use them for walking and hiking about 6 miles every day and they are so much more comfortable than the different running shoes I have been using for several years.
