There are no better walking shoes than Mephisto, but since they are pretty pricey, I don't buy them often. They can be resoled (the company supplies you with postage-paid bags to send the for refurbishment) so a pair lasts me a good ten years. When I saw the fabulous price for these shoes, a fraction of what I usually pay, I couldn't order them fast enough! As is usual, these shoes have given me the greatest of satisfaction.
