Very nice canvas sneaker
The reviews I had read on the Keen Men's Santiago Lace-Up shoes were nothing great, so it made me hesitant to purchase them. But then I found them on sale and I just couldn't resist. Now I wish I had purchased more of them,in different colors and styles, because I like them so much.
For the most part, they're a standard classic canvas sneaker, but the rubber sole is more cushioned and more comfortable. One common problem with canvas sneakers is the fit, but like most Keen shoes, these fit perfect. The length seems 100% accurate to me and I don't mean Converse accurate, either. The width may be a little wide for a canvas sneaker, but not as wide as most Keen shoes.
I own a lot of brands of canvas sneakers, including most of the most popular brands, and these are probably my most comfortable pair. I also like the iconic Keen toe cap, which helps to keep your toes dry when it's wet outside and protects them a little from toe stumping, too. I really think Keen should...

Keen shoes
I selected this product for comfort use, such as general labor work around the home. It has rubber guard around the top section for some toe protection, but no vent holes in the sides. Wide size teen shoes are hard to find for sale on the retail market, which is another reason I went to Amazon. Also love the down-to-earth shoe box they come with, but the shoes appear more army green then brown. Would be nice if lighter in weight as well, but like long lasting rubber, that is expected.
GREAT SHOES (but careful - they run small)
Great, comfortable Chuck Taylor alternative, but be warned - they run small. It took me three tries to get the right size.
